Who We Are

First Service Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative providing a wide array of quality, cost effective financial services to our members.

Control of management is in the hands of our members. Each member has one vote, regardless of the amount of funds on deposit, number of accounts, or how long they've been a member. The membership elects our Board of Directors at our Annual Meeting (generally held in April of each year). "One person, one vote" means control of the Credit Union is not based on financial resources, but on the needs of the membership as a whole.

First Service Credit Union is chartered and supervised by the State of Texas. The National Credit Union Administration insures member share accounts up to $100,000.00, which offers even greater peace of mind for our members.

At First Service, we encourage our members to accumulate savings as a means of building economic security for themselves and their families. In addition, we provide consumer loans for any worthwhile purpose and offer many other money savings and convenience advantages and benefits for our members to enjoy.
